    Feel your leaves often! The best thing I ever did was learn this plants leaves and what they feel like day to day. Gently squeeze them like a taco. If they are firm, don’t water. If they bend easily its time for a drink. And only bottom water unless you absolutely have to top water.

      Mmmm tacos! Lol jk I’m thankful for your advice actually. Great way of checking! Also bottom watering ✔️ Quick question… should I only bottom water my Trandescantia as well?

      It should be fine :) Any sort of string plant (pearls, hearts, etc.) have very fine fragile root systems which are usually located quite close to the surface. Top watering can be too harsh and possibly wash away the soil from the roots or cause damage to them. It took me some trial and error with mine. But after switching to only bottom, it has made a huge difference in their happiness. I also only bottom feed liquid fertilizer. Basically just never pour water on top lol

      Its not necessarily wrong and it might work for yours! I just know all of mine didn’t do well with it.

      True! I still haven’t bought any of those grow lights. Now I gotta buy a few since some of my plants are in my room and it isn’t as bright as the rest of the house. I appreciate you thank you!
