Good Morning! I received this beauty yesterday in the mail.... Alocasia "Dawn".... and she has a lot of new growth! Any tips on separating the younglings would be appreciated!

Thank you! We will see how she likes it! I put her on the window with her leaves facing away from it and after a few hours she turned herself around.

SunnyReally beautiful. It’s easy to separate the pups. Pull them apart after clearing away the soil. It’s important to leave as much roots on the baby plant to increase its chance of survival. Patience is the key. Treat it like an archeological dig and carefully brush away the soil to untangle the baby roots from the parent’s roots. Good luck.

Update: I separated her into all these plants! She was so crowded in her small pot!
