My secret to long lasting green foliage is NEEM seed meal. It sticks around in the soil long after application killing fungal growth and keeping bug(pests) number down. Layer it in your soil when planting. You won’t be sorry.

      You should. It’s a legit powerhouse of a nutrient. Helps with mites fungus and insects don’t like it either. Pollinators aren’t as bothered by it though.

    This is absolutely an invaluable tip.. especially for those always asking about fungus gnats. I use that same brand for my alfalfa meal for roses. Currently I’m using this one that I sometimes make a tea with in a gallon jug ( for the plants of course) :)

      Thanks Mara! And you’re right. Invaluable to any of us that have messed with fungus gnats. Hey I’ve even heard humans can drink it and brush their teeth with it. I’m not that adventurous.

      I’m so happy I could share this knowledge with you. I find this app Amazing. It’s connecting all of us and helping us all become better at caring for plants. You can find this brand at any hydroponic or brewing supply store: they’re the best places to find all gardening supplies now. They seem to have even more knowledge than actual gardening stores.
