Hi! This is my calathea and lately itâs gotten quite big and fuller. I was wondering if I should repot it into another pot. Currently itâs in a 5 inch pot and I know these plants are pretty sensitive and I donât want to stunt the progress itâs made. Thank you!! đ€đ
If the roots look bound when you lift it out of its current pot, then yes, safe to say repotting is wise. If you donât see roots circling around, then no. If you do repot, only go up slightly, to a 6â pot. Just donât mess with the roots too much, just backfill soil around current root/soil ball.
