Hi! This is my calathea and lately it’s gotten quite big and fuller. I was wondering if I should repot it into another pot. Currently it’s in a 5 inch pot and I know these plants are pretty sensitive and I don’t want to stunt the progress it’s made. Thank you!! 🤍🌞

    If the roots look bound when you lift it out of its current pot, then yes, safe to say repotting is wise. If you don’t see roots circling around, then no. If you do repot, only go up slightly, to a 6” pot. Just don’t mess with the roots too much, just backfill soil around current root/soil ball.

      Thank you so much!! I just checked and the roots aren’t bound! I’ll repot in a couple months with your backfilling recommendation! I appreciate it :))
