Hi everyone. I’m still a fairly new plant mom. Why is this girl struggling so much? I think I was overwatering her and she wasn’t getting enough light. I’m giving her some more light (indirect) and less water. What else can I do?

u might need to repot if there’s root rot
3 J'aimemake sure the pot is only about one inch bigger than the root ball. or else it’s like a raft in the middle of the ocean and won’t survive
3 J'aimeIt’s in a nursery pot inside the ceramic pot. It’s probably still a bit too big of a pot though.

I have this same plant and have done and tried everything to get it to grow. Once I repotted her and feed liquid fertilizer every 6 weeks for 12 weeks she’s growing. I found putting her outside in full sun for an hour perked up the leaves. Blessing
3 J'aimeI would just wait. Find a consistent routine that works for the plant where it is and wait. These jawns are very resilient. Consider watering less thoroughly or using a very diluted fertilizer each time you water. The pot may be a little large for the plant right now, but that should be fine as long as you don’t overwater.

U can always repot and get new soil.
2 J'aimeI say just give it time. Sounds like you’re doing the right things.
