Today I picked up some liquid fertilizer to add to my water, I’ve never used fertilizer before, should I be using it everytime I water or should it be like every other time? Thank you for any suggestions!

    Over fertilizing your plants will just do more harm than good. Summer Rayne Oakes’ YouTube video on fertilizing houseplants is very helpful. I would say every other watering or even less often, but it really depends on the plant.

    I fertilize my plants with every watering but with half the strength/half the recommended dose. Especially in spring/summer when plants are actively growing, you want to make sure you are providing enough nutrients 😊

    I just do as the Planta app recommends. Once you add your plant just follow the watering and fertilizing recommendations

    I would read the label for the fertilizer. A lot depends on what type of fertilizer it is and whether it’s taken up by the plant as needed; or if it has chemicals that can build up or burn the plant with overuse.
