sooo, i just got an english ivy clipping as a gift, doesn’t have any roots yet because it was just cut and put in water. i was trying to find information about how to grow english ivy in a pot but wasn’t having a lot of luck 🤔 i was wondering what kind of pot to plant it in and how deep the pot has to be? do i immediately plant it in dirt or do i need to do something before planting it? should i put it in a hanging pot or not? sorry, that’s a lot of questions 😅if anyone has any tips, i’d appreciate it lovelies! <3

    I don’t know a lot of these answers but I personally like hanging pots for vining plants, it’s definitely not necessary though

    English Ivy is easy to propagate, but I’ve had better luck with water. Once the roots are around an inch long, I transplant into a 3”x3”x3” plastic nursery pot.
