I got some goldfish plant clippings from my moms beautiful fully grown plant and I want to propagate one of my own! I’ve seen online that I should pluck the bottom few leaves to give the stem some room to sit in the soil (which i’ve done) and to keep it moist. Any tips or advice on getting this guy some life of its own?

    I’ve seen people both rooting them directly in porous soil in a humidity dome, and rooting them in water before planting it in soil. I think both work well with this plant
