dusty leaves make it harder for plants to absorb sunlight, so make sure to dust leaves of wipe them with water occasionally!!!

learn how heavy your plants feel in the pots when they’re just watered vs when they’re dry. it makes it really easy to figure out when to water rather than sticking your finger in soil

oh and also it’s almost always better to underwater than it is to overwater. overwatering can easily kill a plant

1. When the leaves of a succulent start wrinkling it can either be because it’s dehydrated and reaching into it’s water stores, or it can have root rot so it’s roots aren’t able to properly take up water. 2. Frequently wipe your plant’s leaves because dust actually impedes it’s potosynthesis. 3. Misting to raise the humidity around your plant doesn’t actually work, and can sometimes even create problems with certain pests or fungi. Instead, get a nice humidifier or if that isn’t possible, group all your plants together. 4. If you get experienced enough and have had your plants for a long time, you’re able to train yourself to feel if it’s heavy or light to recognize if it needs water or not.
