Help please. Got this one a few weeks ago, and it’s just looking terrible. It’s in airy soil mix of equal parts potting soil, perlite and vermiculite. I just added the grow light yesterday in case that’s the issue. It’s close (about a foot away) from a south facing window. It just looks so sad and not sure if it needs more or less water or more or less light. House is okay on humidity (usually 55-60%) and temp (in 60’s) since I got it about 3 weeks ago. I’ve looked all over not seeing any signs of thrips, mealy bugs or spider mites.

Is there drainage in the pot?

Yes, sorry didn’t mention that part. I water in my sink let it drain then return to the plant stand. Watered it twice since I got it

Oh no :( Hm. Does the south window get a lot of direct light or is it filtered? If it already gets a lot of natural light in addition to a bright grow light, it might be getting a lil scorched. But it’s hard to pinpoint with the leaves…I would maybe try and check the roots for any signs of rot to at least rule that out.

Mine seems to do pretty well with equal parts perlite indoor potting soil and orchid bark. Does not like intense bright light so i place mine about a foot away from east facing window so it gets the early morning light, during the day mostly shaded and then receives the gentle light of the sunsetting. Very moody plant for sure. Would benefit from some humidity also. As for your grow light i notice mine did better with natural light i couldnt get it to sit well with a grow light.

Our monster thrives in our kitchen with just a grow light so maybe try moving it farther away from the window.
