My poor ivy has been losing so many leaves lately. Does anybody know what’s wrong? I’m thinking it might be overwatered, but I’m following Planta’s advice. Should I just back off from watering and misting for a while?

Yea. I would slow down on watering and try to get it in direct light!

It honestly hard to pinpoint the exact issue, but I had a tropical bonsai that dropped so many leaves as soon as I brought it home. Moving your plant to a new location, when it’s not used to the temp, humidity, lighting could all cause a plant to stress out and lose leaves. Ivy THRIVES in humidity, so I wouldn’t let your plant completely dry out. Maybe try moving it a little closer to a direct sun facing window if you believe it’s overwatered. Also, I wouldn’t stick to a set watering schedule. You really have to feel the soil and go based off that. Planta has reminded me so many times to water certain plants when I know they can go a few more days without watering.
