It might just be young. They donât finestrate until theyâre mature. The climbing poles help them get bigger fenestrations. Youâre already training it to climb. I had to get moss poles myself because my pothos and wandering Jew couldnât grab the pole I was using. Just a heads up, it might lack drainage or maybe overwatered. Just looking at the tips. Tend to this asap because itâs particularly fatal for these plants and the yellowing is the first sign. These guys also love humidity and it tends to affect their growth if they have none. Iâve heard 50-60% (thatâs why I didnât get one myself, sadly.) Can also use a drip tray for humidity.
1 gillaThank you for the reply. Yes, it was just a small plant when I received it and has grown much longer. The dry tips and brown spots are on the older leaves and thatâs how it came. I donât see anything on the newer foliage and Iâm not worried. But itâs definitely good to know the tip you shared about humidity. Thanks again for sharing your suggestions. Never saw a Tradescantia on a moss pole, rather always in hanging baskets.

Usually plants with fenestrations is to help other leaves get sunlight. It may need a sunnier spot for them to start forming
