According to Planta this is a Veined Haworthia. When I bought it it only consisted of the base part of the plant. It very quickly started growing from the middle. This is the result so far. Does this look normal? Do I need to prune it in any way? Thank you!

Looks like it might be etiolated and is stretching because it needs more sunlight. I would advise putting it in a sunnier spot so it doesn’t continue stretching, but sadly it won’t undo the existing stretch. It’s possible you can prune it and propagate the leaves if you want but I haven’t tried it myself, would advise researching more about that

It is now under a grow light. I’m very nervous to “behead” this one. It does not look as straight forward as my Blue Jellybean Sedum.

If you do behead it, you can pot it in some soil and it’ll grow a new plant!!!

If I choose to behead where would I make the cut? Would I cut the middle part?
