My ficus Audrey appears to have sent out roots above the soil. Has anyone seen this or know if it’s a problem? I know she needs to get repotted but I’m moving in a couple months and the idea of moving an even bigger pot seems daunting since she’s already super heavy. Any suggestions on what to do in the meantime?

    Aerial roots are normal for this species and are common when they grow in their native rainforest environment.

    Agreed with Alex. Ficus send out stabilizers near the top soil as a growth pattern. It helps the plant support it’s height. In a happy and humid environment, the roots will make the pot look extremely root bound because it’ll shoot off so many top soil roots that wrap around. Nothing to worry about
