So I was just gifted a cutting of a ghost plant, and I’m wondering what I should do, like what is a good pot for it and what type of soil is best, I know it’s a succulent so it’s durable but I’d like to see it thrive instead of barley surviving

If it’s a cutting, you’ll want to use potting soil with extra drainage but not as coarse as the more gritty mix you use for mature plants. I use one that’s for cacti but also can be used for succulents. Fill a pot with drainage holes with the soil and plant the cutting in the soil with an inch or two beneath the soil. If necessary, remove the leaves that would otherwise be covered. Then give it a bit of water and repeat twice a week for around two months. Then feel whether it’s grown roots by gently tugging it. If it has, you can repot it into regular succulent potting mix in a well-draining pot. Hope this helps!
