I bought this Croton months ago it wasn’t in great shape but not horrible either . I am finally getting new growth & I’m just wondering from any of your guys experience are the new leaves starting as all green normal or do I need to do something different . The colors might look weird in this pic but they are vibrant in person & I know I need to wipe them down which is tomorrow’s chore. I have it with grow lights so it’s getting plenty of light . I’m just curious about the baby leaves .

Oh good !!!! I can’t wait to see them color up I haven’t had one long enough to grow new leaves . I seem to be ok with every other plant in the world other than rubber, fiddle & croton 😕

They do need lots of light though. If they don’t have enough light, the leaves stay green as they grow 🌱

I have it right near a grow light so hopefully it’s enough 🙂 it hasn’t lost any color since bringing it home so fingers crossed

My croton was unhappy with me until I moved it closer to a window (only grew a vibrant-green leaves) but starting to get its coloring! You’re in good shape, just keeping waiting
