Should i repot my dragons breathe? It was fine before but now it’s drinking up water like nothing, I gave it a drench yesterday and it’s nearly dry again (I’m in winter, and it’s not near any heater, also it’s in a cabinet and I’m using LED grow lights so no sun is directly on it) could it be the soil is too dense or has it outgrown it’s pot?

DRAMA QUEEN ALERT 🚨 I moved it for 3 DAYS! Because I was renovating my room and look at it 😭😭

Bought this black velvet the other day for 50% off because it looked great and was just really droopy. (The plant store it was in in actually has no windows so I figured it was just from lack of sun) I’ve had it sitting in the sunny window in the day time and in this chair at night under a grow light with it leaves propped up, hoping it will give it the support to get more upright.
Any suggestions to help this guy get less droopy?
He’s already doing better since I brought it home. It’s actually gone up a bit and had a new growth already. (Daytime picture is when I got it home the other day)

I just ordered an alocasia corm to grow one for the first time! I hope it’s not too hard 😅 Of course, I had to dive into the deep end with a variegated frydek corm lol. I’ve grown several colocasia and caladiums from bulbs before, but they’re easier if I’m not mistaken. I failed at an alocasia flying squid in the past, but I blame that on not knowing it had a death mesh 😬 Wish me luck I guess lol 🍀 I’m super excited

How do you all prevent mildew/mold/fungus from growing in your sphagnum moss container when growing corms?

New here! This may be a silly question but what type of Alocasia is in the title photo? I have the exact one and have been told it’s a Sanderiana but that never seemed right for some reason edit: I think it may be a “Pseudo Sanderiana”

Help with my Alocasia ‘Jacklyn’ I've had it for three months and until lately has been fine but it only has this one leaf so I'm worried I'll lose it

Got my first Alocasia a few weeks ago. Do these guys like to be root bound at all, or would y’all recommend repotting this guy?
I would typically see roots like that and immediately repot. But I’m new to Alocasias.
Thanks!

Look how beautiful this leaf is that my alocasia watsoniana rewarded me during the fall season!! I made the second image brighter so y’all can see the beautiful patterns. My alocasia dragon breath is also putting out some new leaves for me 🤭

I brought home and Alocasia Bambino from the grocery store last night (I know, regretting it already!) and I have seen 3 bugs in my office today 😩 Does anyone know what this is? I repotted it immediately into my Molly’s mix. It had plugs. At this point I’m worried about my other plants more than this surviving.

This needed TLC. I repotted it, took out some dead leaves, cut the roots back. It suffered from being rootbound and not enough water. I told the cashier I’ll save it.
