It’s named Dreamy for a reason!
found this little guy on my silver dragon alocasia
Too much sunlight can burn 🔥 @hydrogarden.guru
Hi everyone- Does anyone know what might be the cause for this alocasias yellowing leaves? I’ve heard they yellow as they get older, but I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong. The plant itself is also very droopy :(
🥰
Hello everyone! These were given to me today and I’m struggling to identify them so I can learn to care for them! I believe I have the last one narrowed down to a Maxkowskit based off photos but I’m not sure. Any help would be appreciated! I’m excited to learn more about them!
Lucked into finding this Alocasia jacklyn today and I am obsessed already! It’s my very first Alocasia and I know they can be a bit tricky so I’m kinda nervous… any tips or things to look out for?
Look at these little corms just doing their thing! I’m planning to leave them till they are their own little plants before harvesting… is there any reason not to leave them for a while?
My plant shelf fell today, and my pink dragon is the only that really got damaged. Do you all think it will recover?
This little kiddo is doing so well 🤩
Hi guys! So this is my first Alocasia, and I was having trouble identifying exactly which kind it is! Definitely did NOT realize how many variations there are! Can anyone help me please? I was kind of thinking that it’s a pink dragon due to the shape of the leaf?? Thanks in advance!! 🤍
Hey everyone! I’m obsessed with Alocasias. I’m thinking about getting some Colocasias soon. I love elephant ears! 😍
My most prized plant. She has produced so many corms. 💚
I was so sad because I had to chop a leaf from my Alocasia black velvet, but then today I noticed this new leaf coming in!! Also does anyone know if that brown tissue paper looking stuff on the base of the stems is normal?
Alocasia Maharani, finally putting out new growth after throwing a fit post transfer, from soil to LECA, and dropping all her old leaves. Such drama. 💚
Alocasia Nebula, in net pot/cache pot setup with LECA. Each new leaf is bigger than the one before 💚
Do I need to repot my alocasia zebrina again? I repotted it about a month ago because it was root bound and wouldn’t stand up on its own. As I was watering it today I noticed that some roots are starting to poke out the bottom already. I don’t want to cause stress by repotting too soon. Any suggestions?
Just lucked out and found this beauty at my local grocery store for $15! Here’s my dilemma, should I transfer straight to LECA, or leave her alone for now? I’ve successfully transferred my other Alocasia (Nebula and Maharani), but lost most of the original leaves in the process, which I wouldn’t normally mind…but man I hate to lose this variegated beauty, especially not knowing if I’ll get another…. On the other hand, I don’t have any soil plants indoors, and with this coming from a big chain store, there’s no telling what might be going on under the surface (pests, rot, etc.). What would you do?
Going to post this in two groups. This is not my picture but found it on Reddit trying to find answers for something similar but in a much milder form happening on one of my Alocasia leaves. Does anyone know what this could be? No pests were found at all. It’s like small yellow spots. Don’t think it’s fungal or bacterial because often that is accompanied by wilty leaves and brown halos. Any advice is welcome.
New leaf on my Dragon Scale is so matte! I love it 😍
