Help! Just bought an Alocasia Regal Shield and I’ve already lost one leaf to spreading purple blotches and now another leaf has them! What is wrong with my plant?

I got this new green dragon scale Alocasia in the mail today. The full leaves are gorgeous, but a new leaf that was unfurling in transit didn’t fare so well. Do you think I should leave it or remove it? I wasn’t sure if it hurts a plant a lot to cut off a new leaf.

Not a fancy alocasia but my Polly is doing so well. Or at least I think so. Eleven leaves out and seven leaves or shoots coming out of the soil. A couple are behind the bigger leaves. It’s the only one still in soil. I have five in semi hydro.

After an end of summer shedding + spider mite over treatment with neem, we are back to pushing out big variegated leaves.

I got this a few months ago on the anniversary of my mom passing. Her name is Suzi 💕. Looks healthy and happy just ZERO growth. Not even trying to put out a new leaf. Am I being impatient? Is pot too big for her? Appreciate any thoughts. Thanks! 😊

It’s been a week since repotting my alocasia in the layer method - first leca, then moss, then chunky soil, then moss on top. I was worried with how they would do but they are looking fantastic.

Did I do something wrong? Lol I know temps and seasons are changing. I’ve had this frydek since May of this year, she’s been happy healthy and over all just thriving. Not too long ago she had about 6-7 big leafs but then got mites so I cut back all of them except 2 leafs and the babies. After she was healthy again she shot out another new leaf a week ago. However this new leaf came out a lil wonky lol it’s been raining more than usual where I live and my plant is an office plant. Nothing has changed other than it’s been raining off and on for the last 2-3 weeks so it hasn’t gotten as much sun as usual. I fertilized her about 2 weeks ago. I’m not sure if it’s cause of the temp drop and it triggered dormancy mid growth or if it’s just not getting enough sun. I also noticed today that the petiole never fully opened to expose the full stem of the new leaf. Curious if anyone could help me figure this one out! Thank u all so much in advance 🙂

Last plant haul of the year. Here are the Alocasia’s I picked up. Red Secret, Loco, Bisma and Dragon’s breath. I think. i am most excited to see the Loco get big 🥰
