Please help I had it for a week . Whats happening?
First time successfully growing from corms. Super excited to see this amount of growth from so many in one batch!
Getting treated with 3 new leaves from my alocasia watsoniana 🤭
Hi there! I have a silver dragon alocasia that is starting to show browning on the tips. I’m watering as per the app (but also checking the soil to see if it’s ready). Am I underwatering or overwatering? It’s planted in a nice aroid soil mix. I only have 2 leaves that aren’t brown at the tip.
Should I invest in a Grow light? Or normal drooping? Noticed this one drooping leaf on the right today.
I just got this Alocasia Sinuata Quilted Dreams a few weeks ago and it’s already lost two leaves. Only one is remaining. It’s never been repotted. I water when it’s almost dry. It did take a fall when it got hit by some strong wind while inside a mini greenhouse with other plants. I had to add more soil to the existing soil and pot. I’m sure it was a little shocked by that. Just wondering if I need to be worried? Also, what are these sprouting out? It’s not new leaves. What do you guys thinks?
Does anyone grow their alocasia in just moss?
Hi. I’m in trouble aren’t I? Second pic is new leaf. It came as a rescue, and had lost a leaf already that arrived in bad shape and was missing half of it, but at least it was green. Help? Do remove this new all white leaf?
Look at all these little babies, hoping that I get something out of these corms 🤞🏽 I have black velvet Alocasia in there and a couple of Alocasia Azlanii corms in there too.
Still can’t get over this alo watso leaf
After a rocky start she is putting out a new leaf!!!
Hello! Can anyone identify this alocasia for me? My son bought it for me and ours not labeled. In one week it has turned to the second pic and I’m not sure how to salvage it
So devastated tonight I accidentally dropped a fan that rolled into my rehabbing Alocasia. The brand new leaf that just unfurled yesterday snapped off and the only remaining leaf was crushed. Is there ANYTHING that I can do to save this plant? It broke my heart after working so long with it. And finally put out a second leaf again. I can’t even take pics right now. 😭
She’s mad at me, isn’t she?😭 She’s a silver dragon alocasia. I put her in a new pot because her old one was a little too small. Each day she gets droopier . Also her leaves are starting to curl. (Currently watering her as well).
I struggle of keep my alocasias spider-mite free but this one has been soooo healthy this last year 🥰
Is this a new leaf as well?
Is she dropping? I recently changed her into a bigger pot (hopefully not too big, her roots were hella long so I thought this would do)
Found this on my Alocasia elephant ears. I’m not quite sure what it is?
Help ID please - I bought this today and I was told it was a ‘Mythic Bambino’. I don’t see it here in the database. Is there a way to have it added? If not is there another variety I should choose that is similar?
I all can anyone help me out. My Alocasia has a ton of new growth since putting it in the window. A new leaf just unfurled and it has discoloration. Should I be concerned. Looks like sun stress, but it just unfurled. I save this plan from the grocery store. It had thrips. They took a few months to eradicate. I was this guy and spray with insecticidal soap every three or so watering. He’s in a soulless mix (Mollys). Just watered and showered him today.
