Hi everyone, I hope I'm on the right thread for my angel wing. Not sure what family it is in. If I am, I hope someone can help. Am I over watering? It was beautiful when I got it a couple months ago. It's still in the pot, I bought it in. Any suggestions?
It could be a few things like lack of humidity, fertilizer burns, under watering, fungus, or more light, it could need a repot. I’m happy to help more if you can tell me the care schedule!
좋아요 1개 Thank you for your input. The watering is scheduled for every ninth day and I last fertilized January 30 but these conditions on the leaves started before the fertilizing. I put a grow light over it about two weeks ago.

I would definitely up the humidity! Check the roots just in case if you’re able to without disturbing the pot too much for future reference repotting in a clear pot allows you to keep an eye on root health without disturbing anything :))
2개 좋아요 Thank you. I have started with a humidifier in the room the last couple weeks. And I missed it almost every day. Do you think I should cut the damaged leaves off and just let the new baby ones take over or leave them on until the baby ones fill it out more?

좋아요 1개 You can! She will definitely grow new ones! I like to let my plants suck every last ounce of nutrients from the dying leaf/ just leave it till it naturally comes off with a slight pull. But it’s up to you! She will likely replace all leaves within a couple months as long as she stays evenly moist, remains in good light, has humidity, and is being fed regularly! You may also want to add some silica to you watering! That will also help with crisping
