    Yes it’s getting a flower. What I’ve noticed with my Alocasia, after flowering they decline a bit. As if it took all its energy to flower. The flowers are plain and I ended up cutting them off to not stress my plant(s).

      Gotcha. I will definitely keep an eye on it. This is the first time it’s ever flowered since I bought it.

    Cut the flower off… it’s not an impressive flower I promise and you want the plant to put the energy into making leaves not flowers.

    I would, just once, have to let it open just long enough to see just what it looks like! Then snip.

      That’s what I planned on doing. Giving that it is the very first one. It doesn’t look all that online. But it’s always something when it’s the first one.
