does anyone have any tips for transferring baby alocasias grown from corms from sphagnum moss to chunky soil? i grew some nairobi nights corms in sphagnum in sealed high humidity environments and they were doing well, then i took them out of these environments to prep for being in ambient and in soil, but they didn’t like that :(

What happened when you took them out of high humidity? Did the leaves droop, etc? I actually just keep my alocasias in sphagnum moss long-term so don’t feel like you have to rush to get them into soil. The only downside is that sphagnum doesn’t provide nutrients so I have to add a diluted fertilizer every watering

the leaves slowly turned yellow and drooped, so i had to cut them off. i am already seeing tiny signs of new growth now that they’re back in a sealed humid environment, but if i were to keep them in moss long term, when can i unseal them? (i also have a lot of chunky soil mix so would just personally prefer transferring to that!) thank you for your help!
