I got my alocasia 3 weeks ago and after one week I start noticing thin areas on two of the leaves, I don’t know what can be … maybe sunburn? However the other two leaves are perfectly. My questions are: Should I cut the baby one ? The most affected Should I repot her with new soil ? Same size pot. Haven’t repotted her yet I’m just waiting to do it after the month
this looks like overwatering to me, especially the transparent parts. it happens because the excess water is trying to escape through the leaves but the process is happening too quickly, making cells burst. definitely take a look inside the pot and be prepared for possible rot

1 likeUpdate, I checked the roots and they are actually good, I’ll just going to make a new mix for the soil bc it looks like it doesn’t have good drainage
Did your she clear up. I recently purchased mine 2 days ago and I’m starting to see the same issue. However, it was diagnosed thirsty.
