    Alocasias like frequent watering and to never completely dry out, so they can be prone to root rot. Make sure thier soil has excellent drainage and decent moisture retention. They also like a relatively tight fit in their pot. If they're underwatered, they tend to dry out from the leaf tips first. They tend to shock when moved, so don't be surprised if they look temporarily miserable or sacrifice a few weaker leaves

    I use self watering pots with chunky soil for all my Alocasias I only have my babies in a cabinet while they grow and establish then they get moved from Isolation to Gen Pop 😂 This baby Jacklyn is still in the cabinet but I just bumped her from her 3 in baby corm pot to this 4 in self waterer.
