So I’ve had this alocasia for about 6 months and it keeps dropping leaves when new ones grow. it has put out several new leaves but also lost several. and it starts with these spots. i’ve been following plantas care schedule. is this normal or is there something wrong?
This is pretty common for younger alocasias too/when they come out of dormancy to throw up a new leaf to have the older die off. I would just make sure you’re keeping that root system nice and healthy and only watering when the plant needs. Slightly underwatering is better than overwatering
1 Like thank you both! i will move her near the humidifier. and i did read that until matured they often drop old leaves when they get new ones, but i wanted to confirm from other humans lol
