It's summer here, there will only be so much that I can control the humidity with fans and windows etc but I can at least protect them from direct light and provide excellent substrate and water lol.

I feel you! I own a humidifier already. But my apartment is on the top floor and lots of very big and bright windows. In my city buildings don't come with AC. I do have a unit for my bedroom which I install of course. But as I was saying with the hot summer days climate control is more crucial than turning my apartment into a hot sauna 🤣
