does anyone know how to get frydeks to stop throwing ghost leaves?? this one has given me three ghost leaves since i got it, and the only leaf with chlorophyll just died. what do i do? it's in a pot with another frydek that's perfectly fine so i don't think it's a light/ temp thing. while they are pretty, i'm getting kind of worried LOL, TIA

With most plants, you'd trim back to a green part of the stem. With an alocasia that's down to that, your best bet would be to chop back all the leaves as you would for winter dormancy and hope. Maybe cut a little lower than you normally would in hopes of getting to a section that's capable of making green. Once a stem is making solid white, it'll just keep making white, so this one's odds of survival are not great
