I see new shoots forming I would assume this could be a natural shed. Alos shed some leaves (or a leaf) to promote growth in a newer larger leaf. This could also be a humidity issue, you have enough sun (maybe too much?) but not enough humidity and it’s starting to brown. Those would be my first conclusions. If it doesn’t get better check the root system for pests.
1 likeThank you! Based on the conditions right now I’m going to say I could definitely increase humidity… I think it’s not too much light because she’s still reaching for the grow lights…
0 likesThere are only 4 leaves in total as of now. Would it really shed one of those for a fifth?
0 likesYes, sometimes they only reach a certain amount of leaves they put out before shedding some. She may just push out the 5th leaf though, increase the humidity and see if that fixes the issue
0 likesLooks like old leaf dying. Alocasia’s usually only have 2-5 leaves at a time anyways. Usually will kill a leaf to make room for a new one
