The rescue Alosacia Polly, picked up from the Coleman's clearance section and ridden with thrips for almost a full year, has finally fully recovered and is now part of the fam:) This guy was my first ever alocasia. I tried every method in the book to get rid of thrips, then after a year of treating with diatomaceous earth and occasional neem oil, and repotting a dozen times, it unfurled a new healthy leaf that wasn't developing any damage for about 3 months now. All other leaves have died off (partly cuz of pests and partly because I had no clue how to take care of this fella, lol), but this one is as big as my palm and is doing great:)🌿 Welcome, lil guy🪴

🤩 Gorgeous! Alocasia plants intimidate me lol. I need to gain more confidence before tackling one of them. 🥴

Thank you!🧡 Yeah, they really are quite cranky, I'm still very new to the genus so it's a learning curve lol!
