What do y’all recommend? I’ve got some baby Alocasia plants that started at corms in sphagnum moss, & they’re about to outgrow the Tupperware. Should I pot them in total sphagnum moss, or maybe put a layer of LECA with wicking cord at the bottom of a pot?

Mine have LOVED a perlite stratum mix. They are growing multiple leaves and super happy.

      What ratio do you use?

I have been playing with the ratio but it is 1:4 most of the time (stratum:perlite). I have found that a thick layer of perlite, stratum layer, then perlite with the corm point and roots sitting in the stratum layer make them so happy. I always use clear planters or clear acrylic containers so that I can see exactly how wet the medium is. I also recently started adding my soil-less custom mix in a thin layer on top the perlite to help hold in moisture and that has been great.
