Guidance, please. I have a long root growing out of the bottom of the pot of my tiny dancer. Repot? Leave it alone? I’m low key terrified of repotting her because she is currently very happy.

    Could just be an explorer 😆 hard to say. What is it like probing? How quickly is it drinking it's water? Did the rate increase? I can't see the whole plant in this shot but to me it looks like it's in an appropriate size pot right now

    An escaped root is not enough information to determine the plant has outgrown its pot. You have to carefully remove the pot to see all of the roots. Repot if you see more roots than soil. That dangling root could be a root drinking up excess drainage water in the drainage saucer. You can clip this root and empty the drainage saucer each time after watering to discourage other roots from growing outside of the pot. 🪴🍀
