I had a rhizome fall out of the pot on a new plant my aunt got me. The house sitter unfortunately put it into water and the bottom was a bit brown and soggy. I wiped off dead material and dried it off but am not sure what to do from here. Should I let it dry and form a callous, or should I repot immediately?
I would stick it in some water with a root boosting nutrient and let it grow new roots before potting it back up, it might grow new roots but might not. Is the rhizome completely done for? That could also reshoot if it’s not mush
