hey peeps! i think have some base rot on my alocasia dragon scale but i’m not sure and i don’t know what to do! recently i repotted into a chunkier combo of orchid mix and potting soil, before it was in way too dense of a soil. ever since i got it i’ve slowly lost every single leaf (i just lopped off the last one last night) and i think the base has been rotting. i’ve been really careful not to overwater.

The leaves falling off are probably just transplant shock. Is the base hard or soft/mushy?

it’s hard! i ended up taking it out the pot, got rid of a bunch of rotten roots, soaked it in isopropyl alcohol and water for a bit and just left it in plain water. i’m hoping it’ll regrow some roots and the reassess
