What are y’all’s thoughts about how to best propagate alocasia corms ??

    Fluval stratum are great for corms. I even transitioned full Alocasia plants into fluval and they are thriving. I do bottom layer with leca for water reservoir then too with fluval but you can also just propagate directly in fluval :)

    I’ve used water and perlite and got great results

    Empty (just a tiny lil bit of water) water bottle in my car lol

    I have a bunch of plastic pint glass cups. Fill with moss and bury the corms spiky tip up until 90% covered. Put cling film over the top with a couple of holes. Wet the moss and place in a bright window. Open up every few days and watch them grow. Only done several but had 100% success rate so far
