I got this a few months ago on the anniversary of my mom passing. Her name is Suzi 💕. Looks healthy and happy just ZERO growth. Not even trying to put out a new leaf. Am I being impatient? Is pot too big for her? Appreciate any thoughts. Thanks! 😊
Im sorry for your loss 💕. The pot does look big for the size of the plant. It could be putting its energy into filling the pot with roots. A pot should be no more than 1-2" bigger than the root ball. Maybe downsizing would benefit it.

the pot does look big, but also, if you're in the northern hemisphere, we're approaching their dormant season. lack of growth is common in the colder months. i'm assuming this is a silver dragon as it looks very similar to my own silver dragon, and mine is a mature plant. it puts out a new leaf every 3 weeks or so in the spring and summer, but as it's gotten colder i'm only getting a new leaf every 6-8 weeks. your alocasia was likely adjusting to your home, and is now focusing on roots rather than leaves due to the large pot. this is not a bad thing, however! if it's not dying i'd leave it alone. it'll start giving you leaves as it gets warmer.
