What can I do to prevent droopy leaves? Everytime a new one comes out the oldest then starts to drop. I end up chopping it before it even dies bc I just hate looking at it. It hasn’t been able to hold onto more than 02 leaves. Does it need more light or should I try a self watering pot? Maybe pon instead of soil??
Oh, don't chop the poor baby. Maybe try staking it up so it doesn't make you so crazy. I get it though. 😆

I have all my alocasia in pon, in self watering pots. They have flourished more than when they were in soil. My stingray and Jacklyn still do the grow one, drop one. They live under a grow light with a humidifier. They’re just divas. 🤦🏻♀️

From what I’ve read, a lot of alocasias like to get droopy leaves when new leaves are forming because they aren’t fully thriving. You have to find the right conditions (humidity, soil, light, etc.) and then they’ll stop getting droopy old leaves when the new ones come it. And sometimes they’re just dramatic so it doesn’t matter lol I’ve got some that are thriving and others that do the same thing.

My frydek is in semi hydro Leca and loving it, a lot of my other alocasias are too. Would recommend.
