Does anyone know what’s wrong with my Alocasia regal shield? I checked for spider mites but I don’t see any. I’m not sure if they are there but I can’t see them or if it’s something else. Thanks!

It’s kinda hard to tell from the pics, but are the dark patches wet?

Also is it on multiple leaves or just that one

On both of the leafs it’s so weird because I don’t see any type of bugs 😭

It looks like spider mite damage. They are so small you could possibly not be able to see them. I would treat for them

      How do you treat them?

I have been able to treat them by taking an old makeup brush and wiping the leaves with a solution of water, isopropyl alcohol and dawn dish soap a couple times

Only thing with spider mites, is that they leave a bunch of yellow dots on the leaves, however here the leaves look damp/sunken, which is more often seen with thirps but still unsure

Is there any webbing? I would treat the leaves with that solution as it will kill pretty much any pests!
