Mine is ok. Overall has enjoyed summer haha and has put on a little size and even pushed a corm. And really never has any complaints. But still moderate and steady in growth... I imagine when she fills the pot with her roots it will be another story though

Hmmm. Not sure TBH. I hand mixed my soil for her to begin with. I top dress occasionally with worm castings and coir pithe. I water slightly more frequently than the app suggests. I keep her just out of reach of direct sun rays but always right next to them. I track humidity in the apartment at all times. I fertilize sometimes not every time. Not much else too it. It isn't the most aggressive alocasia I have to be honest, but not too picky either.

Hmmm, thanks for your reply. I did mix my own soil. I fertilize each watering with happy happy house plants using filtered water. I am waiting for a humidifier that's coming tomorrow. Maybe that's the ticket. The worm castings are a great addition, I will look into that. It's under a grow light. Maybe I'm giving it too much light?

Ahh yes certainly possible it's too much light. I will use the growlight over winter though
