Hi! I’m not an aficionado, but I need help from those of you who are! I think I overwatered this alocasia. It already lost one small leaf, and now the large leaf appears to be dying. I repotted it today and there are very few roots left, but what’s there looks firm and white. My questions are A) do I cut the big leaf? Maybe there’s not enough of a root system to support it?? And B) when do I water it again?? Afraid to overwater again, but it’s been repotted into dry soil today and also afraid to underwater it!! I did get two corms which I am attempting to propagate so it seems there is some part of the plant that is still healthy and savable?! Also the lamp in the photo is a grow bulb so it should be getting plenty of light. Thanks in advance for help/recommendations!

I'd clip it, it's not going to come back and just gonna put a drain on the corm. You could put some rooting powder, when roots aren't great.

You can also dip the corms in it to help them root as well.

Should I water it or let it be dry for a few days???

If your sure its from over watering, I'd leave it a day or two.

I’ve switched all of my alocasia to pon and they are thriving now. Also no pests and takes the guess work out of watering :)
