Hello everyone, I found corms on my Alocasia Jacklyn which is completely new to me. Any advice or tips here? Just want to make sure I'm doing this right 😊 I have them in these tiny plastic cups with 2-3 corms each. Half are in sphagnum moss and the other half are in perlite. They're currently in a South facing window that does get some direct sunlight throughout the day

I’m currently growing alocasia Polly corms in topiary jars with sphagnum moss and a grow light. I rarely mist I just check to make sure they aren’t dry and they’ve been growing beautifully, this is also my first time growing corms so I wish you the same luck I’ve had

Your setup looks good! They grow a lot fast with humidity so the cup on top is perfect! I second Evelyn, just made sure they don’t dry out. I have trouble growing mine in sphagnum and perlite, I think I just didn’t wait long enough. I have been using fluval stratum and have found that it works out better and faster for me, but everyone has their own preferences!

Thank you so much! I haven't heard of using flubal stratum, I'll have to give that a try sometime!
