Shipped from FL to VT, 3 weeks in and may be my new favorite. My first alocasia was a Polly who, for almost a year gave me the worst problems.. But, I'm determined, and more stubborn and picky than they are 😏😅

    Beautiful! But the are insect prone, so stay vigilant!

      I have alot of tropicals and a humidifier running 16 hrs. I do use the little sticky traps. Haven't yet found another preventative I like...?? Any suggestions welcomed

      My sister says she sprayed hers with a natural insecticide every couple of weeks. She is more an expert than I am.

      I’m interrupting this thread. Omg LadyTrenorJD, I just checked out your plants and you have some absolutely beautiful plants. You must know your stuff to have such healthy plants. I’m more into succulents but have quite a few tropicals as well. My profile is also public. Take a look when you get a chance.

      Hi Phil. I’m hardly an expert. My sister got me into plants a couple of years ago. She and my mom know more than I do! But I learn quite a bit from them. Starting out, I killed almost all of my plants, including a snake plant, and I hear they are hard to kill! 🤣 This community also helped me quite a bit.

    I use Bonide Systemic in all my tropicals. Lasts a couple months.
