I went away for two weeks and my Alocasia (Polly?) is doing very bad. It lost a leaf. Any tips for bringing this baby back?

Cut off the dead leaf. It might be overwatered. I recommend a chunky soil mix of cocoa coir, perlite, horticultural charcoal and orchid bark

Thank you I have orchid bark and perlite on hand. I’m going to switch to that

Wanted to share; If you have a clear container that you can put over top like this it will help with humidity. You might lose that last leaf but don’t worry more should grow.

Alocasias also hibernate in winter. You might lose all the leaves, but they’ll come back in spring!
