I am struggling!!!!!!! My baby is slowly dying and I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Some are telling me lighting, some are saying water proportions and I don’t know which way to go! I will be trimming off the yellow leaves. Any suggestions?

shes in too big a pot , so the water in the soil takes too long to dry out. i would repot in half the size of that pot, check for root rot, trim out root rot, get her in a chunkier soil medium, some perlite goes a long way.

I was wondering if I went too far with the pot. 😩 I will try that. Thank you. 😊

i’ve been there before, alocasias tend to like being rootbound too so usually you only repot when theyve outgrown the soil medium.

Absolutely right about the pot. Also that light is not helping. It’s mainly shining on the bottoms of leaves, that light would work with a moss pole or a plant in a corner but this plant is spread out too much, you either need a light farther on the side or one above the plant
