Help! My Alocasia African Mask definitely has spider mites and she is my favorite plant! What do I do? I just noticed this today and checking the rest of my plants for them.

Spray her down thoroughly making sure to get the underside of her leaves. If it was me, I’d use Bonide Insecticidal Super Soap to make sure you get any eggs that might be in the soil or laying around in nooks and crannies. Some people will take a more organic approach, but I haven’t had success with that. Check plants that are nearby for any infestation. Don’t be too hard on yourself, Alocasias can be prone to bugs because of the texture of their leaves. Just make sure you inspect them regularly
