   Tips for getting rid of I believe spider mites ?

     neem oil. neem oil all over it, all over the plants surrounding it, at least once a day for a few weeks. she'll be good as new.

   Is it from a pest or is this a variegated form of Alocasia? It looks like a pest problem. I’d treat it by quarantining this plant and treat with Neem oil or another insecticidal soap. Do this every 4 days for a week, then weekly for 4-6weeks to be safe. At no signs of continued pest problem you can safely bring it out of quarantine. I believe it never hurts to use Castile soap mix of peppermint, tea tree, water and alcohol in between insecticide treatments: “For homemade indoor plant bug spray, the most popular and effective options include a Neem Oil Spray (Neem oil, water, tiny bit of soap), a simple Soapy Water Spray (mild soap & water for aphids/mites), or a Spicy Garlic/Pepper Spray (blended onion, garlic, pepper, water) to deter pests like aphids, spider mites, and fungus gnats by suffocating or repelling them, always testing on one leaf first.”

     Wow thank you for this great information! I noticed some fast moving bugs that kinda look like spiders/ants.
