I'm pretty new to Alocasias but from what I've read, they spread through corms? So I have one on one shelf and another on a different shelf. Neither are touching. How in the world did I end up with two babies in a third pot? Again, not touching the other two. They're all on different shelves. I'd appreciate any insight.
Did you reuse soil? Or own pet squirrels? 😆 🤣

0개 좋아요 They only way it would happen is if there were corms present in the soil. Either from reusing soil, pots reused but not completely cleaned, or the soil you bought was reused/composted. Really tiny ones would be mistaken for perlite or pumice

This happened to me! I repotted an alocasia and I think a corm dropped into my fresh soil bin. I ended up finding a baby Polly growing in my philo Brazil like 2 months later 🤣
