Any advice for potting medium for my Jacklyn? I just found her and she’s in plain soil but I don’t want to repot right before winter? Should I go for it or let her sit in the nursery pot until spring, or is the soil she’s in now fine?

Leave until spring just be careful with watering, and light. They’re the only alocasia I’ve ever had that fried in bright light so be careful if using grown lights!
1 me gustaThat's good to know about the grow light. That makes sense now as to why the leaves are turing a lighter shade of green. Thank you for saying that!

Oof yeah mine actually ended up losing leaves after they got a bit bleached out definitely the only plant I’ve had reject more light 😂
0 Me gustaIt depends on where you live in my opinion. If it's already getting really cold where you are I would wait, but even so, she will be indoors where it's warmer. I have all of my Alocasia in Pon; I love it and they are all thriving; including my Jacklyn (Tandurusa).

I second getting them into pon. Once the original “shock” of coming home with you is iver, I’d get her into pon. I killed THREE Jacklyn’s before the last one I put in pon. All but one of my Alcoasia’s is in it and I’m never going back
2 Me gustaWhat brand of Pon would you recommend?

I just bought a self-watering Lechuza planter because it comes with the pot AND the Pon. I know some people mix their own but I go to great lengths to mix my own soil and I didn’t want to go down THAT rabbit hole.
