      Maybe If i do end up with a cat I can train it... like one of those truffle pigs/dogs. I used to train ground dogs, I feel like it's doable

      If a couple of swines and mutts can find truffles, I don’t see why they can’t find corms, by teaching them the difference between immature and mature corm smell.

    Try a clear pot?? This might only work once the corms detach from the root ball :/

    I always tell my wife not to throw away alocasia even if it looks dead. I had one pink princess that was in garage ( trash pile) for months and decided to dig for “ gold” and found 14 firm corms
